“Light of the East-3” Ecumenical Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, with optional weekends in Constantinople and Rome

At this past year’s OL Conference, Patriarch Emeritus Gregorios of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church invited us to visit Jerusalem and stay at the Melkite Guest House, 2 blocks from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, next summer. We have a tentative reservation there for a limited number of rooms. I am working with the travel agent used by the Franciscans for their regular pilgrimages to the Holy Land to develop a special itinerary that will include sites from the Gospel near Galilee and in the heart of Jerusalem. Patriarch Gregorios will join us as spiritual leader.
We also hope to visit Constantinople (Istanbul) for a few days enroute from the US, and visit Rome for a few days on our way back. On our last two pilgrimages, I have been able to arrange special audiences with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Pope Francis, and hope to do the same for this trip.
If you are interested in this “once in a lifetime” experience, let me know by return email, and specify if you want to participate in the full two weeks (probably about $4500-5000 per person including airfare, double occupancy) or are interested in just the Holy Land portion for 7 days (probably about $3000-3500 including airfare, double occupancy).
