OL XXIII Conference – Save the Dates
June 17, 2019 - June 20, 2019
The dates for the next Orientale Lumen Conference in Washington, DC will be June 17-20, 2019 and our theme will be: “One City, One Bishop: Church Boundaries Past, Present and Future.” Given recent news from the Orthodox world about Ukraine, and the topics of discussion of the international Catholic-Orthodox dialogue, we think this will be a very relevant and timely topic.
Speakers might include Cardinal Kurt Koch, Catholic Co-Chair of the international dialogue and Archbishop Job of Telmessos, Orthodox Co-Chair of the international dialogue, along with other pre-eminent ecumenists. Dr Will Cohen of the University of Scranton (author of Sister Churches) will be the moderator.
